Project Y.O.U. is a community-based youth development program hosted by the Charles County Sheriff’s Office and designed to create a safe, structured, and inspiring space for young people ages 12–17 to grow and succeed.
This initiative focuses on mentorship, leadership development, academic support, physical fitness, creative expression, and real-world life skills. Through guided study time, art classes, sports activities, interactive presentations, and hands-on learning experiences, participants build confidence, strengthen decision-making skills, and develop positive relationships with peers and mentors.
Project Y.O.U. is more than an after-school program — it is an opportunity for youth to build character, discover their strengths, and prepare for future success. By fostering trust, encouraging teamwork, and promoting personal responsibility, we empower young people with the tools and support they need to thrive both socially and academically.
