CARJACKING/CRIME SOLVERS OFFERING CASH REWARD: On Feb. 25 at approximately 4:12 p.m., officers responded to the 2200 block of Sandlewood Drive in Waldorf for the report of an assault and carjacking. An investigation revealed that the victim, a 66-year-old male, interrupted four suspects attempting to steal his vehicle. The suspects assaulted the man and drove away in his car, which was located abandoned a short distance away. The victim was transported to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective J. Feldman at (301) 609-6474.
