VICTIM OF HOMICIDE ON ROOKS HEAD PLACE IDENTIFIED: Charles County Sheriff’s detectives have identified the victim of the Jan. 6 fatal shooting on Rooks Head Place as Lydell Walter Wood, 29, of Waldorf. Wood was shot and killed during a confrontation in the parking lot of the neighborhood in which he resided. Detectives are continuing to work leads and ask anyone with information to call Det. J.
