BURGLARY:  On Sept. 15 at 5:34 a.m., officers responded to a gas station in the 2800 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for the report of an intrusion alarm. Upon arrival, officers discovered the front window broken. The owner responded and reported cigars and cartons of Newport brand cigarettes had been stolen. Officer A. Bringley is investigating.

FRAUDULENT TAG LEADS TO DRUG ARRESTS: On Sept. 14 at 10:26 p.m., Officer J. Pogar initiated a traffic stop in the 11500 block of Berry Road in Waldorf after observing a car with a fraudulent tag. Further investigation revealed the occupants of the car had 28 grams of marijuana, a digital scale, numerous baggies, and heroin. John Edward Wade, Jr., 35, of Waldorf and Ivan Larenta Stewart, 33, of Accokeek were charged with possession with the intent to sell a controlled dangerous substance.

SUSPICIOUS CAR INVESTIGATION LEADS TO DRUG ARREST: On Sept. 14 at 8:44 p.m., Cpl. J. Timko was investigating a suspicious car in the parking lot of a business in the 100 block of St. Patrick’s Drive in Waldorf. Investigation showed an occupant of the car was in possession of marijuana and a scale. After he was placed in the officer’s cruiser, the subject attempted to hide approximately 45 grams of marijuana underneath the seat. Further investigation revealed the driver was in possession of brass knuckles and both subjects had conspired to sell drugs in the area. The driver, Juan Michael Ross, 18, of Waldorf was charged with possession of brass knuckles and possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance. The passenger, Ishan Patel, 18, of Waldorf was charged with possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

FORGERY SUSPECT APPREHENDED: On Sept. 11 at 11:18 a.m., officers received a call for a hold-up alarm at a bank in the 3600 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf. While officers were responding, 911 dispatchers advised a hold-up was not taking place; rather a person was in the bank attempting to cash a counterfeit check. Sheriff Troy Berry and Sgt. R. Nasatka arrived and located the subject. Further investigation revealed the suspect had 13 active warrants through Fredericksburg, Orange County, and Spotsylvania Virginia for charges of counterfeit and forgery. Jamal Leroy Bundley, 30, of Baltimore was arrested as a fugitive and charged with attempted theft. PFC C. Garner is investigating.

THEFT: Between Sept. 13 and Sept. 14, unknown suspect(s) stole four tires and rims from an SUV parked in the 2700 block of Sprague Drive in Waldorf. PFC D. Arends is investigating.

THEFT FROM AUTO: On Sept. 11, during the overnight hours, CDs were stolen from a car in the 1000 block of Stone Avenue in Indian Head. Officer L. Miles is investigating.

STOLEN TRUCK: During the overnight hours on Sept. 8, a silver 2003 Dodge Durango was stolen from the 10700 block of Nita’s Place in Nanjemoy. The truck had Maryland tags 1BD9921.  Master Cpl. R. Cadrette is investigating.
