CRITICAL MISSING PERSON: The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help in locating Ernest Courtland Freeman, Jr., 78, who is missing from his home on Annabelle Drive in Swan Point, MD. Freeman, who has Alzheimer’s disease, was last seen at his home by a relative at 9:15 this morning. He was discovered missing at about 11 a.m. Freeman may be driving a black Toyota Rav 4 SUV with Maryland tags 424M164. Freeman is a white male, 6’0”, 185 lbs, with gray hair and hazel eyes. He may be wearing a gold-colored golf shirt, beige shorts and a baseball cap. Family members have indicated if Mr. Freeman leaves the area of Swan Point, he likely will not be able to find his way home. A Silver Alert – which is similar to an Amber Alert – has been issued and officers are continuing to canvass the area. Anyone who sees Mr. Freeman should call 911 or contact Detective B.
