The Charles County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a press conference today at 11:30 a.m. at the Sheriff’s Office Headquarters building in La Plata to announce a second arrest in connection with the double shooting that occurred in the parking lot of McDonald’s in the 11000 block of Mall Circle in Waldorf on May 20. An off duty police officer from a neighboring jurisdiction has been charged with murder in this case.
