THEFT: Sometime between 11 p.m. Oct. 26 and 4:30 p.m. Oct. 29, suspect(s) stole a .50 caliber muzzleloader from an open garage at a residence in the 12100 block of Riverview Drive in Newburg. ATTEMPTED VEHICLE THEFT: Sometime between 2:30 and 3 a.m. Oct. 28, two suspects drove a tow truck to the 9500 block of Trinity Church Road in Charlotte Hall and attempted to hook up a car. However, the victim confronted the suspects and the suspects fled the scene without the vehicle. The suspects were described as white males. One of them was 30-40 years old and was wearing a brown Carhartt-brand jacket. The tow truck was white with black and red on it.
