LA PLATA SHOOTING SUSPECT LOCATED AND ARRESTED THIS MORNING: On Sept. 17 at 7:30 a.m., members of the CCSO Warrant Unit, along with patrol officers and detectives located and arrested James Jvon Butler, 28, of La Plata, at a motel in Waldorf where he had been hiding. Butler was wanted for attempting to murder an acquaintance on Sept. 16. Butler was transported to the Charles County Detention Center where he will be charged with attempted first-degree murder.
