BURGLARY: On Sept. 1 between 11 a.m. to 2:20 p.m., unknown suspect(s) forced entry through the back door of a house in the 15000 block of Brandywine Drive in Brandywine and stole several rifles, shotguns, TVs, and cash. Officer Gustafson is investigating.
BURGLARY: Between Aug. 31 to Sept.1, unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a house in the 5400 block of Harvest Fish Place in Waldorf and stole a computer, game systems, and other electronics. Evidence was recovered at the scene. PFC K. Newman is investigating.
THEFTS: Between Aug. 30 to Aug.31, unknown suspect(s) stole property from unlocked cars parked on Charleston Court, Ashley Green Court, Backland Court, Dorsey Court and Federal House Court in Waldorf. Some of the stolen items included a cell phone and money. In addition, the suspect(s) punctured tires on two cars parked on Endicott Court and two cars on Federal House Court. PFC Kunz is investigating.
SUSPECTS LOCATED AND CHARGED IN STRONG-ARM ROBBERY: On Aug. 29 at 7 p.m., the victim, age 14, was outside in his yard in the area of Rock Court in Waldorf when a group of teens began cursing at him and his father. The victim began video-taping the group who were trespassing on his property. Two subjects approached the victim, assaulted him and tried to take his cell phone. The victim resisted and the suspects fled. The victim called police who reviewed the video and identified the subjects involved in the assault. The two suspects, age 16, were quickly located and charged with assault. The victim was treated for injuries he sustained. The investigation is continuing.
