Officers checked further and found Harley’s wife, Ammah Harley, 33, deceased with a gunshot wound. ROBBERY: On July 14 at 9:17 a.m., two masked men walked into the Bryans Road Shell gas station at 6985 Indian Head Highway in Bryans Road, pulled guns and demanded money from the station’s clerks and customers who were inside. No one was hurt and the suspects fled, possibly in a gold colored car. The car and the description of the suspects are similar to a robbery that occurred in Prince George’s County. Surveillance photos of the suspects and the car they drove are attached. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. Hemsley at (301) 932-2222. THEFTS FROM AUTOS: On July 12 and July 13, someone broke into several cars parked at the Hiker Biker Trail in Indian Head and stole valuables that were left inside the cars. The suspect smashed the windows to the vehicles and stole a cell phone, wallets, a back pack, a laptop and a canvass bag. Officers processed the cars and canvassed the areas for witnesses. The CCSO is reminding citizens to remove valuables from cars, no matter where you are. The CCSO also recommends you do not attempt to hide valuables underneath jackets or other items as thieves tend to know this trick. Also, if you see anything unusual, say something and report suspicious activity to police right away. These events appear to be isolated.
