Robbery Suspect Sketch

Charles County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested Jarred Darnell Brown, 25, of Washington, D.C., in connection with a robbery that occurred on January 30 in the 3200 block of Plaza Way in Waldorf. Brown walked up to a man who was approaching a bank to make a deposit, assaulted him and stole the deposit bag the man was carrying. Detectives from the CCSO Criminal Investigations Division pursued leads and a forensic artist created a sketch of the suspect. Based on additional information, Brown was identified and an arrest warrant was obtained. Brown turned himself in to officers on March 13. He was charged with robbery, second-degree assault and theft. Det. T. Hemsley investigated.
