On March 24, an unknown male stole UPS packages from the front porch of two homes in the Lake Jameson neighborhood of Hughesville. The thefts occurred on Dusty Miller Court and on Pale Morning Court about 15 minutes after the packages had been dropped off by a UPS employee in the early afternoon. In one case, the theft was recorded on a surveillance camera and images of the suspect and his car were captured. The suspect is described as a black male with a dark complexion, possibly in his 20’s, with short dreadlocks and wearing a black skull cap and black prescription style glasses. The car appeared to be an older model light-colored Nissan Altima. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identity and arrest of the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. C.
