MAN REPORTS BEING SHOT: On Dec. 30 at about 3:45 a.m., officers responded to the University of Maryland Charles Regional Medical Center for the report of a shooting victim in the emergency room. When officers arrived, they spoke with a 19-year-old male who said he was leaving a party at an unknown address in the Fairway Village neighborhood when he heard three shots and noticed he had a gunshot wound to his hand. The man called a friend to take him to the hospital. The man refused to cooperate with officers and did not provide any additional information. PFC W. Halt is investigating.

FIGHT LEADS TO ARRESTS: On Dec. 30 at 1:05 a.m., officers responded to the 3400 block of Leonardtown Road in Waldorf for the report of a large fight. When officers arrived, they attempted to disperse the crowd but several people refused to leave. One individual, later identified as Eric Figeroux, 19, of Waldorf, was observed throwing a rock at a vehicle window. He fled but Officer R. Walls apprehended him after a short pursuit. A computer check revealed Figeroux had an open warrant. He was arrested and charged with destruction of property, disorderly conduct and trespassing. Another man, Donte Andre Dorsey, 23, of Waldorf, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing. Four juveniles between the ages of 14 to 16 years-old were also charged with disorderly conduct and trespassing.
