CCSO Conducting Death Investigation in Indian Head
BODY OF MALE FOUND IN WOODED AREA: Charles County Sheriff’s Officers, with the help of canine search and rescue teams from Calvert K9 and Search and Rescue Dogs of Maryland, located the body of a male in a wooded area near Cindy Court in Indian Head. Investigators are waiting to confirm the identity of the body, but are looking into the possibility it was that of Steven Coltman, 18, of Indian Head who was reported missing from his house last week. The body was sent to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy. A gun was found near the decedent. The investigation is ongoing.
