HOMICIDE: On May 7 at 10:30 a.m., officers responded to the 12300 block of Vivian Adams Drive in Waldorf for the report of a stabbing. When officers arrived, they found an 18-year-old male lying in the parking lot of an apartment complex. He had stab wounds and was transported to a hospital where he died a short time later.  A preliminary investigation showed the victim and two friends went to the apartment of an acquaintance with whom they had a dispute. As they knocked on the door, the acquaintance answered and an altercation ensued. The altercation continued to the parking lot where the acquaintance stabbed the victim.  Officers quickly located the subjects involved in the altercation and detectives are continuing their investigation. The decedent’s name will be released once his next-of-kin has been notified. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call Detective J. Austin at (301) 609-6504.
