DETECTIVES INVESTIGATING REPORT OF SEXUAL ASSAULT: On Dec. 22 at 8 p.m., a 33-year-old woman was walking home in the area of Matthews Road in Bryans Road when a lone male approached from behind, pulled her into the woods and sexually assaulted her. After the assault, the suspect fled and the victim notified police. The suspect is described as a black male, between 25 to 30 years-old, 5’8”, medium build, short black hair, thin beard and no moustache. He was wearing a black jacket and white pants. There have been no other reports of assault in that area. Anyone with information is asked to call Det. K. Klezia at (301) 609-6479.
