Crime Solvers Offering Cash Reward

Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the identity of a man who may be responsible for at least two robberies and a theft at the Bryantown Store in the 6400 block of Leonardtown Road in Bryantown. Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward for the suspect’s identity.

The most recent robbery occurred on Aug. 9 at 10:03 p.m., when the suspect entered the store, showed a gun and demanded money. The same man is believed to be involved in a theft that occurred on Jan. 1 in which he stole cash from an open register and a robbery that occurred last October in which he pulled a gun and demanded cash from an employee.

In all three cases, the suspect was wearing dark clothing. He is possibly in his twenties, between 5’5” to 5’9”, with a small to medium build. After each event, he fled toward Oliver Shop Road and detectives believe he may have ties to that area.

The suspect’s image was captured on a surveillance camera. Anyone who believes they know who the suspect is should contact Det. C. Gregory at (301) 609-6507. Tipsters wishing to remain anonymous may contact Crime Solvers at 1-866-411-TIPS or Text CHARLES + your tip to CRIMES or visit www.ccso.us to submit a web tip. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered in this case.
