THEFT: Sometime between Feb. 6 and Feb. 7, someone stole a gas powered tamper from a construction site near Billingsley Road and St. Martha Court. The tamper is a Mikusa model MTX70 and had a gray plastic, bright orange boot. PFC D. Raby is investigating.

BURGLARY: Sometime between Feb. 5 and Feb. 6, someone broke into a church in the 2600 block of Mattawoman Beantown Road in Waldorf and stole a small amount of cash. P.O. I Smith is investigating.
