Sheriff’s Office to Host Annual Crime Watch/Crime Prevention Kick-Off Celebration

Charles County Sheriff Troy D. Berry and members of the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are hosting the annual Crime Watch/Crime Prevention kick-off event on Tuesday, March 24 at 7 p.m. at the American Legion, 6330 Crain Highway, La Plata. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness about crime prevention and discuss strategies to keeping communities safe. Det. C. Caldwell of the CCSO Narcotics Unit will give a short presentation on prescription drug abuse. For more information about the event, contact Lt. J.
