Zombies are invading Charles County next month to raise money for Special Olympics Maryland, and the philanthropic apocalypse is being supported by the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant in Waldorf, the Charles County Sheriff’s Office has announced.

Buffalo Wild Wings will hold three fundraisers for next month’s Zombie Invasion 5K being hosted by the CCSO, Charles County Fraternal Order of Police and Charles County Correctional Officers Association. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of its profits between 11 a.m. and 10 p.m. on Oct. 26, Nov. 2 and Nov. 9. Their donation and the proceeds from the 5K will support Special Olympics Maryland.

Buffalo Wild Wings is located at 11215 Mall Circle in Waldorf. To participate, please download and present this flier during your visit:

A prize will also be awarded to the winner of the Zombie Beauty Contest.

The cost to register is $25 for adult zombies and $20 for child zombies between 11 and 17 years undead. There is no registration fee for zombies 10 years undead or younger.
