The Charles County Sheriff’s Office has the honor of hosting the 2013 United States Police Canine Association’s 2013 National Patrol Dog Field Trials from September 30-October 4. The best police K9 teams from the United States and Canada will compete in various categories including criminal apprehension and handler protection. All competitive events are free and open to the public. Public Demonstration

Join Sheriff Rex Coffey for an exciting, action-packed public demonstration Thursday, October 3 at North Point High School. The event is will showcase the impressive skills of North America’s best police K9 teams. The demonstration is FREE and open to the public. It will begin promptly at 6 p.m.

T-Shirt Sales

The CCSO is selling USPCA 2013 Field Trials t-shirts to raise money for the competition, which is fully funded by the USPCA and community donations. T-shirts will be available for purchase at the Charles County Fair and at the public demonstration.
