Medication Take-Back Day Success

Charles County Sheriff Rex W. Traffic Fatality Update

On Oct. 23 at 10 p.m., Micah Ryon Enstrom, 17, of Hughesville died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Oct. 18 on Turkey Hill road near Dower Drive in La Plata. Medication Take-Back Day

On Saturday, October 26, between 10 a.m. – 2 p.m., the Charles County Sheriff’s Office will join the DEA in the National Medications Take-Back Program. “This is an important program because unwanted medicines, which often fall into the hands of abusers, can be disposed of in an environmentally safe manner,” said Sheriff Rex W.
