On August 17, Joshua Vinson, 30, of Waldorf, was pronounced deceased as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle crash that occurred on August 16 at 11 p.m. Vinson was driving his motorcycle north on Middletown Road when the driver of a Chevrolet Traverse, who was attempting to make a left turn from Middletown Road onto Billingsley Road, struck him. Vinson was flown to a hospital with critical injuries but died the following day. Members of the Traffic Operations Unit are continuing to investigate.
