Members of the CCSO Traffic Operations Unit and Patrol Division, along with partnering law enforcement agencies, will be conducting sobriety checkpoints on Wednesday, November 23 at two different locations in Charles County. The operations will take place during the evening hours. Thanksgiving Eve is a busy time nationwide for restaurants and bars. Throughout the remainder of the holiday season, Traffic Operations officers will be conducting saturation patrols specifically geared toward locating impaired drivers. The CCSO is reminding people to designate a sober driver if needed.
