Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating the death of Lana Woo Hiland, 34, of Waldorf who was found deceased on Sunday, Sept. 18 inside a hotel room in Waldorf. Hiland had been reported missing on Sept. 16 from her home. At the time Hiland was reported missing, family members indicated she needed medical attention. An autopsy will be performed to determine the cause and manner of death. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Det. J. Feldman at 301-609-6474. The investigation is continuing.
