Patrol officers with the Charles County Sheriff’s Office are searching for George Wilmot, 87, of Bryans Road, MD who was reported missing from his home at about 7:45 this morning. Wilmot, who has dementia, was last seen walking near the Bryans Road Shopping Center at the intersection of Indian Head Highway and Marshall Road. He was wearing a white sweater, unknown color pants and socks. He was not wearing shoes. Wilmot does not have access to a car or a cell phone. He does not have his wallet with him. Wilmot is a white male, 5’9”, and weighs about 155 pounds. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1. Officer R. Gilroy is investigating.
