On August 28, detectives assigned to the Narcotics Enforcement Section served a search warrant at a room inside a hotel located in the 11700 block of Business Park Drive in Waldorf, as part of an ongoing drug distribution investigation. Shortly before the search was conducted, detectives located the suspect, Tyriek Lamont Courtney, 35, of Waldorf at a nearby gas station where he was arrested. Following his arrest, detectives recovered approximately $10,000 worth of cocaine and cannabis, drug packaging materials, and cash from Courtney’s room. Courtney was charged with felony drug violations and is currently being held without bond at the Charles County Detention Center.
