On March 26, a student, age 15, at North Point High School was found to be in possession of five packaged vape devices containing THC. The student was issued a citation for possession of cannabis. On March 25, school administrators at Westlake High School found a student, age 14, to be in possession of four vapes containing THC. The student was charged with possession of cannabis and additional charges are pending. Earlier on March 25, a student, age 14, at Milton Somers Middle School was found to be in possession of cannabis. The student was issued a citation for possession of cannabis. In an unrelated incident, administrators at Phoenix International School of the Arts (PISOTA) middle school found a student, age 13, in possession of a vape device containing THC. The student was issued a citation for possession of cannabis. All four students face disciplinary consequences from Charles County Public Schools in accordance with the student code of conduct.
