On May 24 at 9:25 a.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of New Forest Court in Waldorf for the report of a suspicious person and vehicle. When officers arrived, they located a juvenile near a KIA SUV. A computer check revealed the KIA had been reported stolen from Washington, D.C. The juvenile was also in possession of items stolen from the car. The juvenile was charged with theft and is being held by the Department of Juvenile Services. Officer Hopp is investigating.
