Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the identity of two men wanted in connection with a smash and grab theft that occurred at Robinsons’ Jewelers on April 2. Robbery Arrest

Charles County Sheriff’s detectives have arrested Jarred Darnell Brown, 25, of Washington, D.C., in connection with a robbery that occurred on January 30 in the 3200 block of Plaza Way in Waldorf. Brown walked up to a man who was approaching a bank to make a deposit, assaulted him and stole the deposit bag the man was carrying. UPS Package Theft Caught on Video

On March 24, an unknown male stole UPS packages from the front porch of two homes in the Lake Jameson neighborhood of Hughesville. The thefts occurred on Dusty Miller Court and on Pale Morning Court about 15 minutes after the packages had been dropped off by a UPS employee in the early afternoon. CCSO Earns Top Torch Run T-Shirt Sales Award

Charles County Sheriff Rex W. Coffey is pleased to announce the Charles County Sheriff’s Office was honored with an award for raising the most money in T-shirt sales for the Law Enforcement Torch Run benefitting Special Olympics Maryland.
