Charles County Sheriff’s detectives are seeking the identity of a man wanted in connection with the robbery of a store. On Oct. 15 at 10:50 p.m., a lone male entered the Bryantown Store in the 6400 block of Leonardtown Road in Bryantown. He approached a clerk, showed a handgun and demanded money. On Oct. 23 at 10 p.m., Micah Ryon Enstrom, 17, of Hughesville died as a result of injuries he sustained in a motor vehicle crash that occurred on Oct. 18 on Turkey Hill road near Dower Drive in La Plata. On Oct. 18 at 7:32 p.m., officers responded to the area of Turkey Hill Road near Dower Drive in La Plata for the report of a motor vehicle crash. When officers arrived they found three people inside a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck that had crashed into a tree. 13 Arrested in Domestic Violence Warrant Sweep

Charles County Sheriff Rex W. Coffey said a warrant sweep conducted on Oct. 16 by members of the CCSO Judicial Services Section, COPS Unit, TAC Squad and Traffic Operations Unit resulted in the arrests of 13 people wanted in connection with domestic-related offenses. A total of 17 warrants were served during the week-long operation.
