FOURTH-DEGREE BURGLARY: Sometime between March 17 at 12 p.m. and March 21 at 8 a.m., an unknown suspect stole a microwave from a home under construction in the 4000 block of Edmonton Court in White Plains. Cpl. J. Walter is investigating.
IMPAIRED DRIVER CHECKPOINT: On March 17, 2016, the CCSO Traffic Operations Unit conducted a sobriety checkpoint on St. Patrick’s Drive in Waldorf. Officers from other agency divisions, as well as an officer from the La Plata Town Police Department, participated in the event using funding from the Maryland Highway Safety Office. During the checkpoint 753 drivers were contacted by officers and provided information about impaired driving. Criminal, traffic and civil citations were issued to several violators. No major incidents were reported.
STOLEN RIMS/TIRES: Sometime between March 16 at 11 p.m. and March 17 at 6 a.m., unknown suspect(s) stole the rims and tires off of a black Mercedes Benz in the 2400 block of Hanover Court in Waldorf. PFC D. Butler is investigating.
