ATTEMPTED BURGLARY: On March 16 at 9:38 p.m., officers responded to a residence in the 3200 block of Huntington Circle in Waldorf for an intrusion alarm. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) attempted to break into the house through an open window but fled the scene once the alarm went off. Officer S. Chandler is investigating.

POSSESSION OF DRUGS: On March 16 at 8:49 p.m., Officer D. Graham conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Crain Highway near Plaza Drive in Waldorf. A search of the vehicle revealed a large amount of marijuana and cash. Darris Jamal Gray, 26, of La Plata, was arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: Sometime between 8 p.m. March 14 and 8 a.m. March 15, unknown suspect(s) scratched a slur and a satanic symbol into a car parked in front of a residence in the 6000 block of New Forest Court in Waldorf. Officer R. Gass is investigating.
