THEFT REPORTED: On August 17 at 1:55 p.m., officers responded to the area of Western Parkway and Berry Road in Waldorf for the report of a theft that just occurred. Investigation showed a 17-year-old female was stopped at a red light at the intersection of Western Parkway and Berry Road when a male exited the passenger side of a dark blue Chevy Impala which was also stopped in traffic. The suspect approached the woman’s car and grabbed her purse through an open passenger window and ran back to the Impala.
