THREE CHARGED WTIH DRUG TRAFFICKING AND POSSESSION OF HANDGUN: On Oct .28 at 2:59 p.m., officers were called to a hotel in the 3700 block of Crain Highway in Waldorf for possible drug activity. When officers arrived, a strong odor of marijuana was emanating in the hallway, directly outside a room. Officer S. Chandler stationed himself by the room when suddenly two people came walked out. At the same time, another person in the room saw the officer and ran to a bathroom where he started flushing drugs down the toilet. Officers observed marijuana and marijuana paraphernalia in plain sight and located a loaded handgun in the room as well. Officers also found a safe containing approximately a pound and a half of marijuana with a street value of about $5,300. In addition, more than $1300 in cash was found. Officers seized drugs, drug paraphernalia, a handgun, cash, six cell phones and a vehicle. Gregory Michael Francis Hill, 25, of La Plata; Michael Timothy Baggerly, 23, of La Plata; and Jacqueline Marie Quattlebaum, 19, of Port Tobacco were arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute drugs, possession of a firearm, and drug trafficking.

LAUNDRY DETERGENTS STOLEN: On Oct. 25 at 6:30 p.m., a male suspect entered a grocery store in the 3100 block of Marshall Corner Road in Bryans Road and put a large
quantity of Tide laundry detergents in a grocery cart. The man then placed several packs of paper towels on top and walked out without paying. A witness provided officers with a description of the car and investigators are pursuing leads. Pfc B. Moore is investigating.

MAN CHARGED WITH DUI AND POSSESSION OF DRUGS: On Oct. 25 at 12:30 a.m., Sgt. F. Fetterolf initiated a traffic stop in the area of Berry Road after observing a violation. The driver appeared to be driving under the influence and he failed several field sobriety tests. Officers also found marijuana inside the car. Alexander Iannuzzi Dewey, 22, of Fort Washington was charged with driving while impaired and possession of marijuana. Cpl. C. Walter assisted with the arrest.
