Family Fun Night

Teen Court and the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs will host a family fun night this summer. Youth volunteers are eligible to receive two free tickets — one for the volunteer and one for a parent — to watch the Blue Crabs take on the York Revolution on June 21 at 6:35 p.m.

Boys’ Workout Bootcamp

Teen Court is sponsoring a free workout bootcamp for young men. The workouts will be held from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. each Saturday from April 12 to May 10 at Longevity Studios located at 6770 Crain Highway in La Plata. In addition to promoting physical activity, the workout sessions provide a positive, healthy environment to learn about nutrition, team building and positive body image.

Mother-Daughter Zumba Class

Teen Court will host a free mother/daughter Zumba class on Saturday, May 17, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Longevity Studios located at 6770 Crain Highway in La Plata.

Participants must be between 13 and 17 years old and must be a resident of Charles County. Registration is required. To register, contact Teen Court Coordinator Sarah Vaughan at 301-609-3916 or by email.

Roy Rogers to Host Teen Court Fundraiser

Roy Rogers of La Plata will host a Teen Court fundraiser on April 15 from 5-9 p.m. The restaurant will donate a portion of its proceeds to Teen Court. No fliers or tickets are necessary.

April 6 to April 12 marks this year’s National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. Sheriff Rex W.
