Crash Investigation: Vehicle Into Lake

On Sept. 10 at 12:25 p.m., a 25-year-old Temple Hills woman was driving her Hyundai north on St. Charles Parkway near St. Thomas Drive in Waldorf when her vehicle went off the roadway and struck a tree. CCSO Officer Becomes DARE Certified

Charles County Sheriff Rex W. Homicide Investigation

On September 7 at 11:50 p.m., officers responded to the 600 block of Popes Creek Court in La Plata (Phoenix Run neighborhood) for the report of the sound of gunshots. On Aug. 30 at 10:30 a.m., a man on a motorcycle pulled into the parking lot of the Capitol One Bank at the Waldorf Market Place and, wearing his helmet, walked inside.
