The following statistics reflect calls for service handled by the Charles County Sheriff's Office and La Plata Town Police. Statistics are provided for those neighborhoods that participate in our Neighborhood Watch program. If you do not see your neighborhood listed and want to learn about joining Neighborhood Watch, contact our community organizer at 301-609-3080.
These are unofficial statistics designed to offer general information about the calls for service police respond to in these neighborhoods. Remember that higher numbers may indicate an active Crime Watch group or a larger residential population, not necessarily a higher crime rate. This is especially important to note if you are using these statistics to determine whether to move to a particular neighborhood.
