In other cases, the suspects broke into the cars because they saw valuables inside the vehicle. The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is reminding residents to remove valuables from cars when leaving them unattended. Charles County Crime Solvers is offering cash rewards to anyone who provides suspect information in any of these thefts. DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Nov. 4, during the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) damaged two vending machines at the Maryland Visitor Center in Newburg. Nothing was reported stolen. PFC W. Halt is investigating.

THEFTS FROM AUTOS: On Nov. 2 during the overnight hours, unknown suspect(s) went through several unlocked cars parked in the 8000 block of Bloomsbury Place in White Plains and stole items. Officer D. Proctor is investigating.

BURGLARY: Between Nov. 1 and Nov. 3, unknown suspect(s) broke into a business in the 2800 block of Old Washington Road in Waldorf and stole tools. Officers canvassed the area and found evidence. PFC C. Garner is investigating.

THEFT: On Nov. 3, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., someone stole a go-cart from the side of a house in the 11900 block of Goldie Farm Place in Waldorf. The go-cart has a blue frame, black wheels, a single seat, a roll cage, multiple stickers and brakes that don’t work. Cpl. R. Heishman is investigating.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Oct. 31, between 6:30 p.m. -10 p.m., someone fired a BB gun at a parked car on Jameson Court in Indian Head. The front window was shattered. PFC P. Morgan is investigating.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY: On Oct. 31, during the evening hours, someone slashed the tires on two cars parked in the 8500 block of Kingsway Drive in Waldorf. Someone also slashed tires on a car parked in the 7400 block of Tottenham Drive. The cases appear to be related. PFC P. Morgan is investigating.

WHEELS STOLEN: Sometime between Oct. 30 and Oct. 31, unknown suspect(s) stole four wheels off of a car parked in the 10300 block of Janice Place in Waldorf. PFC J. Hornickel is investigating.

THEFT FROM AUTO: Between Oct. 29 and Oct. 30, someone smashed the driver window of a car parked in the 2800 block of Scenic Meadow Street in Waldorf and stole a wallet that was left inside the vehicle. Officers are pursuing leads. PFC B. Moore is investigating.
